MONTREAL (Ticker) -- Anthony Calvillo threw three touchdowns as the Montreal Alouettes clinched a playoff spot with a 37-12 victory over the shorthanded Saskatchewan Roughriders.
Calvillo completed 27-of-39 passes for 287 yards and hooked up with Jamel Richardson, Kerry Carter and Brian Bratton for scores.
Avon Cobourne ran for 125 yards on 17 carries and scored from two yards out for Montreal (9-4), which clinched a playoff berth for the 13th straight season. The victory guarantees Montreal at least second place in the East Division and secures a home playoff game.
Michael Bishop completed 23-of-42 passes for 364 yards for Saskatchewan (8-5). Luca Congi kicked four field goals for the Roughriders.
Saskatchewan was without running back Wes Cates - the league's leading rusher - who missed the game with a bad lower leg.
