SASKATCHEWAN 55, EDMONTON 9 ---------------------------

REGINA, Saskatchewan (Ticker) -- Wes Cates ran for a pair of scores and Renauld Williams returned an interception for a touchdown, helping the Saskatchewan Roughriders crush the Edmonton Eskimos, 55-9.

Corey Grant, Weston Dressler, and Andy Fantuz each caught a TD pass for the Roughriders (11-6), who moved into sole possession of second place in the West Division. Meanwhile, the Eskimos (9-8) will face the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the East semifinal on November 8.

Saskatchewan took advantage of Ricky Ray's struggles to grab a 33-6 halftime lead. Kitwana Jones returned Ray's fumble 54 yards for a touchdown, and Williams ran back an interception 42 yards for a score.

Ray was 10-of-18 for 99 yards and a pair of interceptions before being replaced by Jason Maas midway through the third quarter. Mass was 6-of-16 for 57 yards.

BC LIONS 55, TORONTO 32 -----------------------

VANCOUVER, British Columbia (Ticker) -- Jarious Jackson threw for 156 yards and three touchdowns as the B.C. Lions pounded the Toronto Argonauts, 55-32.

Playing for injured quarterback Buck Pierce, Jackson entered the game late in the second quarter and completed 11-of-16 passes. He also ran for 25 yards and another score.

B.C. had a 15-7 lead after the first quarter and extended the advantage to 25-14 at the break.

Toronto was able to close within nine at the end of three quarters, but the Lions (11-6) outscored the Argonauts, 23-9, in the final session.

Kerry Joseph completed 17-of-29 passes for 276 yards and three touchdowns with one interception to lead Toronto (4-12).
