EDMONTON, Alberta (Ticker) -- Ricky Ray threw two touchdowns passes as the Edmonton Eskimos stomped the Montreal Alouettes, 37-14.
The Alouettes (11-7) rested six starters as they had already clinched first place in the East Division.
The victory locked up fourth place in the West for Edmonton at 10-8. It will be in the playoffs, having gained a crossover position to the East.
The Eskimos took a 10-7 lead in the second quarter, when Ray found Maurice Mann for a 38-yard scoring play.
After a field goal, Ray and Kelly Campbell combined on a 28-yard scoring play to make it 20-7 at the half.
The Eskimos put the game out of reach on A.J. Harris' three-yard run that made it 27-7.
Edmonton will play the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the first round of the playoffs. The winner of that game will face Montreal.
No one has shouted yet.
