Reds place RHP Fogg on DL
Jun 1, 2008 - 4:27 PM CINCINNATI (Ticker) -- The Cincinnati Reds on Sunday placed righthander Josh Fogg on the 15-day disabled list with back spasms.Fogg, 31, was tagged for six runs and seven hits in 3 1/3 innings of Saturday's 8-7 win over Atlanta. After the game, he complained about the back spasms.
Fogg is 1-2 with a 9.85 ERA in 11 appearances, including 4 starts for the Reds this season.
In a corresponding move, Cincinnati recalled righthander Gary Majewski from Class AAA Louisville. In 22 appearances for the Bats, he is 2-1 with a 3.76 ERA.
