Diamondbacks RHP Owings leaves game

Jun 28, 2008 - 2:04 AM MIAMI (Ticker) -- Arizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Micah Owings left Friday's 3-1 loss to the Florida Marlins in the fifth inning with an injured right leg.

Owings allowed three runs and four hits while striking out six in the loss.

The righthander, who took the loss, is 6-7 with a 5.18 ERA in 17 games this season.
