Indians sign Weaver to minor league deal
Jul 5, 2008 - 4:30 PM MINNEAPOLIS (Ticker) -- The Cleveland Indians on Saturday signed righthander Jeff Weaver to a minor league contract.Weaver, who has not pitched in the majors this season, was in the Milwaukee Brewers' minor league system from May 1 to June 11 at Class AAA Nashville.
