DETROIT (Ticker) -- Detroit Tigers shortstop Edgar Renteria left Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays before the fifth inning with a left pectoral strain.

The injury is not considered serious.

Renteria singled and scored in the bottom of the fourth on Curtis Granderson's bases-loaded walk, but did not come out in the top of the fifth. He was replaced in the lineup by Ryan Raburn, who took over at second base while Ramon Santiago slid over to short.
