Brewers exercise option on OF Cameron
Nov 3, 2008 - 4:02 PM MILWAUKEE (Ticker) - The Milwaukee Brewers on Monday exercised the 2009 club option for outfielder Mike Cameron.Cameron, 35, will be paid $10 million for the upcoming season.
Last year Cameron batted .243 with 25 home runs, 70 RBI and 17 stolen bases in 120 games during his first season with the Brewers.
He made 119 starts, all in center field, and committed only one error the entire year. He finished just three stolen bases short of his sixth career 20-20 season.
