Padres 3B Kouzmanoff underwent surgery
Nov 18, 2008 - 1:23 AM SAN DIEGO (Ticker) -- The San Diego Padres announced Monday that third baseman Kevin Kouzmanoff underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right shoulder.Kouzmanoff, who batted .260 with 23 home runs and 84 RBI last season, had the procedure performed on Saturday.
"We are pleased with the results and expect Kevin to be at full speed when spring training begins in February," Padres general manager Kevin Towers said.
The 27-year-old Kouzmanoff hit .264 with 44 home runs and 169 RBI in 315 games over parts of three seasons with the Cleveland Indians and Padres.
