Tigers fail to tender Lopez
Dec 13, 2008 - 3:16 PM DETROIT (Ticker) -- The Detroit Tigers on Saturday failed to tender a contract to Aquilino Lopez, making the reliever a free agent.Lopez, 33, appeared in 48 games for the Tigers last season, going 4-1 with a 3.55 ERA.
In two seasons, Lopez went 4-1 with a 3.84 ERA in 58 outings.
