DALLAS (Ticker) -- The Dallas Mavericks re-signed guard-forward Antoine Wright on Friday.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Wright was acquired by the Mavericks in February as part of the deal that brought Jason Kidd to Dallas. He finished the season averaging a career-high 6.3 points and 2.6 rebounds in 56 contests with the Mavericks and the New Jersey Nets.
"We are excited that Antoine will be returning to Dallas next season," Mavericks general manager Donnie Nelson said.????"He is an emerging young prospect with tremendous promise. With his youth, athleticism and talent, he has a very bright future in Dallas."
The former Texas A&M standout was selected 15th overall by New Jersey in the 2005 draft.
Dallas also signed guard Keith McLeod and forward James Singleton on Friday.
McLeod has career averages of 5.5 points and 2.7 assists over four seasons with Minnesota, Utah, Golden State and Indiana. He was undrafted in 2002 .
Singleton has spent two seasons with the Los Angeles Clippers, last appearing in the league during the 2006-07 campaign. He has career averages of 2.6 points and 2.7 rebounds over 112 games.
