Heat sign F Diawara
Aug 7, 2008 - 11:11 PM MIAMI (Ticker) -- The Miami Heat on Thursday signed swingman Yakhouba Diawara.Terms were not disclosed.
Diawara spent the past two seasons with the Denver Nuggets, playing in 54 games - 14 starts - during the 2007-08 campaign. The 25-year-old averaged 2.8 points and 1.1 rebounds in 10 minutes per game last season.
Diawara played two seasons for Pepperdine after transferring from Southern Idaho Junior College and began his professional career with JDA Dijon Bourgogne of the French League.
