Heat sign G Livingston
Oct 3, 2008 - 7:26 PM MIAMI (Ticker) -- Shaun Livingston, who had his career derailed by gruesome knee injury, signed a contract with the Miami Heat on Friday.Terms were not disclosed.
Livingston has not played since suffering a devastating left injury in a game on February 26, 2007. The 6-7 one-time playmaker was not re-signed as a free agent by the Los Angeles Clippers, who drafted him fourth overall in 2004.
Livingston averaged 7.4 points and 4.8 assists in parts of three seasons with the Clippers
Before signing with the Heat, Livingston also drew interest from the Portland Trail Blazers and Minnesota Timberwolves.
