Thunder G Mason will not play vs. Rockets

Nov 18, 2008 - 1:01 AM OKLAHOMA CITY (Ticker) -- Oklahoma City Thunder swingman Desmond Mason will not play in Monday's game against the Houston Rockets thanks to an elbow injury.

Mason injured the elbow in the fourth quarter of Saturday's loss to the Philadelphia 76ers.

According to the Oklahoman, Mason has played with pain in the elbow for much of the season, with the aggravation of the injury threatening to keep him out for up to two weeks.

Mason has averaged 8.4 points and 3.9 rebounds in 10 games this season for the Thunder.
