NEW ORLEANS (Ticker) - The Phoenix Suns were without point guard Steve Nash and center Shaquille O'Neal for Wednesday's game against the New Orleans Hornets.
Nash, who had scored at least 20 points in each of his last three games, is out due to flu-like symptoms. Nash is averaging 15.1 points and 8.1 assists this season.
The Suns are just resting O'Neal because they play at Dallas on Thursday, and O'Neal has been given games off when the team plays on consecutive nights this season.
O'Neal is averaging 14.9 points and 8.5 rebounds.
