Bulls F Deng leaves game with ankle injury

Dec 26, 2008 - 11:42 PM MIAMI (Ticker) -- Chicago Bulls forward Luol Deng left Friday's game midway through the third quarter with an apparent left ankle injury.

Deng was going up for a rebound under the basket but badly rolled his ankle and collapsed to the floor. He was carted off the court and will undergo X-rays.

The 6-9, 220-pound veteran is averaging 13.5 points and 5.2 boards while shooting at a 44-percent clip.
