Clippers F Randolph out 1-2 weeks
Dec 29, 2008 - 7:49 PM LOS ANGELES (Ticker) -- Los Angeles Clippers forward Zach Randolph will miss one to two weeks with a bruised left knee, according to Monday's Los Angeles Times.Randolph has not played since suffering the injury in last week's loss to Toronto. An MRI exam Saturday revealed no structural damage, according to the paper.
"Just got to get the strength back. It isn't so much pain," Randolph told reporters prior to Sunday's 98-76 loss to Dallas.
Randolph is averaging a team-best 23.1 points and 9.9 rebounds in 14 games since being acquired from New York for Tim Thomas and Cuttino Mobley. Overall, Randolph is averaging 22.0 points and 11.0 rebounds in 25 games.
