Mavericks coach Carlisle ejected

Dec 31, 2008 - 2:31 AM DALLAS (Ticker) -- Dallas Mavericks head coach Rick Carlisle was ejected in the second quarter of Tuesday's meeting with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

With less than seven minutes remaining in the first half, Minnesota forward Brian Cardinal stole the ball from Dallas forward Dirk Nowitzki - and may have committed a foul in the process. However, no foul was called and Carlisle began to argue, getting whistled for back-to-back technical fouls, an automatic ejection.
