Nets coach Frank ejected
Jan 3, 2009 - 1:29 AM EAST RUTHERFORD, New Jersey (Ticker) -- New Jersey Nets coach Lawrence Frank was ejected in the second quarter of Friday's game against the Atlanta Hawks for arguing.Moments after Nets guard Devin Harris was called for an offensive foul, Frank was given a technical foul for his confrontation with referee Luis Grillo.
New Jersey's coach continued to make his case and was given a second technical, causing his ejection with 6:59 left in the first half.
Mike Bibby made both technical free throws, putting the Hawks on a 10-0 run and extending their lead to 31-16.
