Cavs coach Mike Brown ejected
Jan 4, 2009 - 11:14 PM WASHINGTON (Ticker) -- Cleveland Cavaliers head coach Mike Brown was ejected for arguing a call midway through the fourth quarter of Sunday's 80-77 loss to the Washington Wizards.Brown angrily protested an offensive foul called against Cleveland's LeBron James, who charged into a defender with 6:33 remaining in the matinee contest.
With Cleveland facing a 70-58 deficit, James received the questionable foul after driving into Washington's Mike James on a fast break, prompting an explosive reaction from Brown.
"I really thought that Mike James slid over and LeBron tried to side-step him," Brown said. "It should have been called as a block as opposed to a charge."
Brown, who raced on to the court from the opposite bench, was whistled for two technical fouls and was ejected.
No one has shouted yet.
