Bucks waive F Croshere
Jan 6, 2009 - 5:44 PM MILWAUKEE (Ticker) -- The Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday waived backup forward Austin Croshere, whose playing time had greatly diminished this season.The 33-year-old Croshere played in just 11 games for the Bucks, averaging 3.3 points and 2.2 rebounds in 7.0 minutes per contest. Prior to his release, he had not played in five straight games.
Croshere spent the first nine of his 12 seasons in Indiana, where he was a valuable reserve for the Pacers.
However, his career has been in steady decline as he has played for three teams in the last three seasons, averaging under four points per game.
The Providence product has career averages of 6.8 points and 4.0 rebounds in 656 career games with Indiana, Dallas, Golden State and the Bucks.
