Suns' Shaq to miss game vs. Pacers
Jan 8, 2009 - 1:46 AM PHOENIX (Ticker) - Shaquille O'Neal will not play Wednesday when the Phoenix Suns host the Indiana Pacers.O'Neal, who is averaging 17.2 points and 9.0 rebounds for the Suns, is out with a back injury. He will be replaced by rookie Robin Lopez in the starting lineup.
Phoenix point guard Steve Nash is a game-time decision with flu-like symptoms while the Pacers will be without guards Marquis Daniels and T.J. Ford.
Daniels is out with a strained left groin, and Ford is suffering from a sore lower back.
