UNLV G Lawrence suspended
Feb 16, 2008 - 12:42 AM LAS VEGAS (Ticker) -- UNLV sophomore guard Marcus Lawrence has been suspended for violating athletics department policy, the school announced Friday.The 5-11 guard failed to report to practice and will not make the trip to Brigham Young on Saturday, when the Runnin' Rebels visit the Cougars.
Lawrence, who has played in 23 of the team's 24 contests this season, is averaging 1.4 points and 2.3 assists in 13.9 minutes per game.
