Louisville F Williams undergoes surgery
Oct 16, 2008 - 1:19 AM LOUISVILLE, Kentucky (Ticker) -- Louisville forward Terrence Williams underwent successful surgery on his right knee Wednesday.The 6-6 forward tore his meniscus during a pickup game on Tuesday and is expected to miss four-to-six weeks.
Williams averaged 11.1 points, 7.2 rebounds and 4.5 assists last season, helping the Cardinals reach the regional finals of the NCAA Tournament. He also led the team in minutes played, averaging just under 36 per game.
Louisville opens the season on November 22 when it hosts Morehead State.
