Miami lifts G Rios' suspension
Dec 4, 2008 - 9:29 PM CORAL GABLES, Florida (Ticker) -- Miami lifted the suspension of sophomore guard Eddie Rios on Thursday.Rios will travel with the 22nd-ranked Hurricanes and will be available for Saturday's game against Kentucky. Rios was suspended indefinitely Tuesday for violating team rules and missed that night's 73-68 loss to Ohio State.
Rios has appeared in all five games for Miami this season, averaging 6.0 points and 1.4 rebounds.
The 6-foot Rios was dropped out of in the starting lineup in the Hurricanes' 79-65 win over Stetson on Saturday, scoring six points in 11 minutes.
