Washington F Brockman probable for game vs. Eastern Washington
Dec 18, 2008 - 8:19 PM SEATTLE (Ticker) -- Washington forward Jon Brockman, who is nursing an ankle injury, is probable for the Huskies' upcoming game against Eastern Washington, the school announced Thursday.The Huskies' leading scorer and rebounder, Brockman suffered an ankle sprain in practice last weekend and missed Sunday's 84-83 victory over Portland State.
But after missing practice on Monday and Tuesday, the 6-7 Brockman participated in a strength and conditioning workout Wednesday. The 255-pound senior hopes to return to the lineup Saturday when the Huskies (6-3) host Eastern Washington (6-3).
Brockman has averaged 16.8 points and 11.4 rebounds in eight games this season.
