Boston College names Crawley coach
Apr 30, 2008 - 3:25 AM CHESTNUT HILL, Massachusetts (Ticker) - Boston College on Tuesday named Sylvia Crawley its women's basketball coach.Crawley signed a five-year contract to become the sixth coach in school history. She replaces Cathy Inglese, who resigned on April 10 after 15 seasons as the Eagles' coach.
A member of North Carolina's 1994 national championship team, Crawley spent the past two seasons as coach at Ohio University, compiling a 38-25 mark.
The Bobcats went 20-13 this past season - the school's first 20-win season in 13 years.
