KNOXVILLE, Tennessee (Ticker) -- Tennessee offensive linemen Darius Myers and Ramone Johnson have been suspended for two weeks, the school announced Tuesday.
The duo will miss upcoming games against 10th-ranked Georgia and Mississippi State.
"Darius Myers and Ramone Johnson are suspended for two weeks of practice and two games for lack of academic effort and violation of team rules," Volunteers coach Phillip Fulmer said.
Tennessee (2-3, 0-2) is having one of its worst seasons in years, falling to last place in the Southeastern Conference West Division.
