Oklahoma State dismisses WR Broadway from team

Dec 9, 2008 - 2:20 AM STILLWATER, Oklahoma (Ticker) -- Junior wide receiver Jeremy Broadway was dismissed from the Oklahoma State football team for breaking team rules, according to a report in The Oklahoman on Monday.

Formerly a starter, Broadway reeled in just two catches for 118 yards this season - including a school-record 95-yard touchdown reception against Iowa State.

A 6-foot, 195-pound Houston native, Broadway was suspended from the team in November 2007 after an incident involving marijuana. He was reinstated and finished the season with 13 catches for 125 yards.

The 13th-ranked Cowboys (9-3) face No. 15 Oregon (9-3) in the Holiday Bowl on December 30 in San Diego.
