Report: Cardinals interviews two Eagles' assistants
Jan 5, 2018 - 7:10 PM The Arizona Cardinals were in Philadelphia on Friday to interviews two Eagles' assistants, according to a report from Philly.com.Arizona was scheduled to interview defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz in the afternoon, followed by quarterback coach John DeFilippo at night.
The Cardinals are in the midst of multiple interviews following the retirement of Bruce Arians.
Schwartz and DeFilippo are hot coaching candidates for various positions as the Eagles (13-3) prepare for an NFC divisional playoff game at home on Jan. 13.
Schwartz, 51, spent five seasons as the head coach of the Detroit Lions from 2009 to 2013. He is in his 11th season as a defensive coordinator.
DeFilippo, 39, has been with the Eagles for the past two seasons, earning strong reviews and results for his work with quarterback Carson Wentz.
