Former NFL C Wendryhoski passes away
Nov 6, 2008 - 9:47 PM METAIRIE, Louisiana (Ticker) -- Former NFL center Joe Wendryhoski died Thursday. He was 69.Wendryhoski, who had been battling a form of cancer and had a stroke earlier in the week, spent five seasons in the NFL with the Los Angeles Rams and New Orleans Saints from 1964-1969.
A University of Illinois alum, Wendryhoski was a member of the Saints during their inaugural season.
