Bears T Miller placed on IR
Nov 22, 2008 - 6:53 PM LAKE FOREST, Illinois (Ticker) -- Fred Miller's career may be nearing an end.The Chicago Bears on Saturday placed the veteran offensive tackle on season-ending injured reserve. The team did not specify the reason for the move.
Miller, 35, appeared in six games this season for the Bears, appearing mostly on special teams.
The 13-year NFL veteran has appeared in 192 career regular season games with 52 coming as a member of the Bears during the last four years.
In a corresponding move, the Bears signed wide receiver Brandon Rideau from the practice squad.
