Buccaneers RB Williams active for Sunday's game

Nov 23, 2008 - 5:45 PM DETROIT (Ticker) -- Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Carnell "Cadillac" Williams was listed as active for Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions.

Williams has not played since tearing the patellar tendon in his right knee on September 30, 2007.

Tampa Bay is thin in the backfield after placing running back Earnest Graham on season-ending injured reserve Wednesday. Warrick Dunn is expected to start against the winless Lions.

Williams was activated from the physically unable to perform list two weeks ago but was inactive for last weekend's game.

The fifth overall pick in the 2005 draft, Williams was named the league's Offensive Rookie of the Year after rushing for 1,178 yards and six touchdowns.
