Titans DT Haynesworth leaves game with injury
Nov 23, 2008 - 7:52 PM NASHVILLE, Tennessee (Ticker) -- Tennessee Titans defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth left Sunday's game against the New York Jets with an apparent injury to his head.Haynesworth was hurt with 30 seconds left in the first half while sacking Jets quarterback Brett Favre. Teammate Jevon Kearse's shoulder appeared to slam into the helmet of Haynesworth, who lay face down for several minutes.
There was no word on the return of Haynesworth, who did not start the second half.
The mammoth Pro Bowl tackle also was hurt earlier in the game but returned to play shortly afterward.
