Falcons place TE Hartsock on IR
Nov 26, 2008 - 7:12 PM FLOWERY BRANCH, Georgia (Ticker) -- The Atlanta Falcons on Wednesday placed tight end Ben Hartsock on season-ending injured reserve.A free-agent acquisition this past offseason, Hartsock injured his toe during Sunday's 45-28 victory against the Carolina Panthers.
Hartsock had three receptions for 26 yards in 11 games this season and helped block for an Atlanta rushing attack that has logged 1,667 yards.
In a corresponding move, the Falcons signed tight end Jason Rader, who had two previous stints with the Falcons this season.
