Cardinals release P Johnson
Dec 1, 2008 - 10:32 PM TEMPE, Arizona (Ticker) -- The Arizona Cardinals on Monday released punter Dirk Johnson.Johnson ranked last in the NFC in punting, averaging just 41.8 yards per kick. He had been the club's punter for all 12 games this season.
To replace Johnson, the Cardinals signed punter Ben Graham, who will be joining his third team this season. The former Australian rules football player was with the New York Jets for four games and the New Orleans Saints for another contest.
