National Football League Capsules for Monday

HOUSTON (Ticker) -- Steve Slaton rushed for 130 yards and two scores and Sage Rosenfels threw an early touchdown pass to lead the Houston Texans to a 30-17 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Kris Brown kicked three field goals for the Texans (5-7), who have won two straight following a three-game losing skid.
Rosenfels connected with Andre Johnson for a 31-yard score to make it 7-0. Brown made field goals of 38 yards in the first quarter and 50 and 20 yards in the third.
Slaton scored on runs of 7 and 40 yards in the fourth quarter.
The Jaguars fell to 4-8 with the loss.
