Avalanche place D Foote on IR
Nov 29, 2008 - 5:50 PM DENVER (Ticker) -- The Colorado Avalanche on Saturday placed veteran defenseman Adam Foote on injured reserve, retroactive to November 22.The 37-year-old, who has one assist in 19 games this season, is dealing with neck, back and knee injuries.
In a corresponding move, Colorado recalled defenseman Aaron MacKenzie from Lake Erie of the American Hockey League. This is his first NHL call-up.
