Roma falls into disappointing draw with Bologna
Nov 8, 2008 - 10:13 PM By PA SportsTickerRoma's luckless season continued on Saturday as an own goal from Joao Cicinho in the 90th minute denied it victory and forced it into a 1-1 draw at lowly Bologna in Serie A action.
The capital side, who have won just twice all season and are 17th in the table, went ahead through Francesco Totti in the 68th minute and looked worthy winners until Cicinho put one through his own net to provide the final margin and hand Bologna a point.
There was more late drama in the other game, with an 88th-minute goal from second-half substitute Jurgen Saumel giving Torino a 1-0 triumph at home over Palermo, which had Antonio Nocerino sent off six minutes from time.
The win moved Torino up to 14th, while Palermo is ninth.
