Galaxy F Donovan to train with Bayern Munich
Nov 11, 2008 - 8:12 PM CARSON, California (Ticker) -- Los Angeles Galaxy forward Landon Donovan will train with Bayern Munich of the German Bundesliga for the next 10 days, the team announced Tuesday.Donovan, who is a finalist for the MLS MVP award and led the league in scoring with a career-high 20 goals in 25 games, is expected to return to Los Angeles later this month.
The defending Bundesliga champions, Bayern Munich is coached by former Galaxy technical adviser Jurgen Klinsmann. They currently sit in third place, one point behind leaders Bayer Leverkusen and TSG Hoffenheim.
