Bochum earns third straight draw
Nov 14, 2008 - 10:20 PM Bochum claimed their third draw in as many Bundesliga matches on Friday in an entertaining 1-1 contest with fellow strugglers Hannover.Jan Schlaudruff put the home side in front in the second half, but Bochum were gifted an equalizer thanks to an embarrassing own goal from keeper Florian Fromlowitz.
The result allows Bochum, who have won just one league game this season, to climb out of the bottom three and sit one place behind Hannover.
Despite their poor record, it was Bochum who dominated the first half and Vahid Hashemian caught the first glimpse of goal with a 12-yard strike which went over the crossbar.
