Galaxy acquire F Kirovski from Earthquakes
Nov 24, 2008 - 10:43 PM CARSON, California (Ticker) -- The Los Angeles Galaxy on Monday acquired forward Jovan Kirovski from the San Jose Earthquakes for a conditional pick in the 2010 Supplemental Draft.Kirovski joins the Galaxy for the second time. In two seasons (2004-05) with the Galaxy, he registered 12 goals and six assists in 48 games.
"Jovan is an experienced player who we are happy to have back with the Galaxy," general manager Bruce Arena said. "He has shown the ability to play abroad and in the MLS."
Kirovski split last season between Colorado and San Jose, failing to register a point in nine games.
The 32-year-old Kirovski also has played internationally with several top clubs in Europe, including stints with Manchester United, Birmingham City, Borussia Dortmund and Sporting Lisbon.
