FC Dallas parts ways with D Davino
Dec 4, 2008 - 7:58 PM FRISCO, Texas (Ticker) -- Defender Duilio Davino and FC Dallas mutually agreed to part ways, the team announced Thursday.FC Dallas will begin searching for a replacement center back, while Davino will explore opportunities to play in Mexico.
"Duilio is a great professional who has enjoyed a storied career," FC Dallas general manager Michael Hitchcock said.
"He brought a great deal of experience and leadership to FC Dallas that will benefit our younger players for years to come. We wish Duilio all the best in the next chapter of his career."
Davino signed with FC Dallas on January 9 after a 10-year career with Club America in Mexico. He was named the team's captain to the start of the season. Davino started 22 of 23 games before missing seven contests with a left foot injury.
