0 shoutsMONTREAL (Ticker) -- Anthony Cavillo threw three touchdown passes and ran for another score as the Montreal Alouettes celebrated Thanksgiving with a 42-11 rout of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Monday.
On wet afternoon at sold-out Percival Stadium, Cavillo carved up the Ti-Cats, completing 33-of-41 passes for 371 yards.
Three of Cavillo's scores went to Jamal Richardson, who caught 12 passes for 125 yards.
It also was a big day for Ben Cahoon, who hauled in 13 receptions for 164 yards and a TD. His 13 catches tied the team record set by James Hood in 1986 against Calgary.
Dahrran Diedrick added 127 yards rushing for the Alouettes (10-5), who avenged last week's 44-38 loss at Hamilton.
Behind their potent offense, the Alouettes raced to a 25-10 halftime lead. They scored on their first two possessions of the third quarter to put away the game.
Quinton Porter threw for 167 yards and two interceptions for Hamilton (3-12), which was eliminated from playoff contention.
