Washington (34-54) at Cincinnati (41-47) 7:10 p.m. EDT
CINCINNATI (Ticker) -- The Cincinnati Reds look to take a third straight game from the Washington Nationals when the teams continue their four-game series on Saturday.
The Reds won the first contest on Thursday, 5-3, and Bronson Arroyo pitched six solid innings Friday to lead Cincinnati to a 3-0 triumph. Ken Griffey Jr. hit career home run No. 604 in Friday's win.
Josh Fogg (1-2, 9.85 ERA) will be activated from the disabled list and take the mound for the Reds. The righthander has been out since June 1 with a back injury and gave up six runs in 3 2/3 innings in his last outing against the Atlanta Braves on May 31.
Fogg is starting in place of righthander Aaron Harang, who will be pushed back until Tuesday against the Chicago Cubs.
The Nationals, who have lost seven of their last eight road games, counter with Tim Redding (6-3, 4.21). The righthander has had eight consecutive no-decisions and has not lost since May 9.
Redding gave up four runs and eight hits over five innings during Washington's 6-5, 10-inning loss to the Florida Marlins on Monday.
