Blue Jays retain coaching staff

Sep 30, 2008 - 5:12 PM TORONTO (Ticker) -- The Toronto Blue Jays on Tuesday signed all the coaches on Cito Gaston's 2008 staff to two-year contracts.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Returning is pitching coach Brad Arnsberg, bench coach Brian Butterfield, third base coach Nick Leyva, first base coach Dwayne Murphy, hitting coach Gene Tenace and bullpen coach Bruce Walton.

Arnsberg will return for his fifth season as this past season the Blue Jays posted a major league best team ERA of 3.49.
