Blue Jays claim LHP Walrond off waivers

Nov 4, 2008 - 11:45 PM TORONTO (Ticker) -- The Toronto Blue Jays on Tuesday claimed lefthander Les Walrond off waivers from the Philadelphia Phillies.

Walrond posted a 1-1 record with a 6.10 ERA in six appearances with the Phillies last season.

The 31-year-old is 1-4 with a 7.07 ERA in 23 career major league contests.
