FORT WAYNE, Indiana (Ticker) -- Rookie Brandon Rush and T.J. Ford each scored 18 points as the Indiana Pacers edged Derrick Rose's Chicago Bulls, 102-95, in preseason action on Friday.
Marquis Daniels scored 13 points and Jarrett Jack added 10 for Indiana. The Pacers outscored the Bulls, 34-21, offsetting a solid performance by Rose - the No. 1 overall pick in June's draft.
Rose recorded 13 points and six assists in 30 minutes but also turned over the ball four times.
Tyrus Thomas led Chicago with 15 points. Kirk Hinrich, the man Rose was brought in to replace, added 13.
Larry Hughes and Thabo Sefolosha also scored 13 points for the Bulls, who shot just 22 percent (4-of-18) from the arc.
