Miami (8-8) at LA Clippers (2-13) 10:30 p.m. EST
LOS ANGELES (Ticker) -- The best players learn to put bad games behind them immediately. Dwyane Wade is in that select group.
Wade and the Miami Heat will look to put back-to-back wins together when they visit the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday.
Wade had his worst game on Wednesday, posting a season-low 12 points on 5-of-14 shooting as the Heat suffered a 106-68 loss at Portland.
It was a different story on Friday as the former NBA Finals MVP went off for a season-high 43 points on 15-of-24 shooting as Miami topped the Phoenix Suns, 107-92, to pull even at 1-1 on its five-game road trip.
The big game boosted Wade's scoring average to 28.4 points per game - good for tops in the NBA.
The Clippers have had trouble finding a big performance from any of their players during their current four-game losing streak.
Rookie Eric Gordon celebrated his first career start with 24 points on Wednesday, but Los Angeles still suffered a 106-105 loss to the Denver Nuggets.
Recent addition Zach Randolph played 27 minutes off the bench in his Clippers debut, managing just seven points on 3-of-11 shooting.
