CHARLOTTE, North Carolina (Ticker) -- The Charlotte Bobcats and the Minnesota Timberwolves are looking to turn the page as they move into December.
Both teams will be looking to avoid their 12th loss when they meet Monday.
The Bobcats showed signs of becoming competitive on Saturday when they took the defending champion Boston Celtics to the brink before falling, 89-84. Jason Richardson and Gerald Wallace combined for 45 points in the setback.
Richardson has scored over 20 points in two games since returning from a seven-game absence due to knee surgery.
Charlotte has also benefited from the play of guard tandem Raymond Felton and D.J. Augustin, both of whom are averaging close to 13 points per game.
The Timberwolves are coming off a 106-97 loss against the Denver Nuggets in which they committed 16 turnovers and shot 6-of-23 from beyond the arc.
Guard Randy Foye scored a season-high 25 points in the setback and has totaled at least 17 in three of his last four games.
